Credit Card Fraud Investigator

Job Summary:

Research online credit card purchases, cancel tickets and report findings to Loss Prevention Management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Skills and Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Proven ability to tactfully question guests.

External Loss Prevention Agent

Job Summary:

Field Agents are responsible for preventing loss of company assets by foot patrol, reporting conditions that pose an exposure to the company, our employees or the public. Agents enforce company policy, issuing Violation Notices and preparing reports. Field Agents work in plain clothes to blend in with the public. Agents work under general supervision, conduct surveillance of guests and employees, observing and apprehending those involved in shoplifting, scalping, counterfeiting, credit card fraud, petty and grand larceny. Agents are responsible for the collection of evidence to be submitted to management and/or law enforcement. Agents prepare detailed reports and testify before courts, boards or administrative proceedings. Agents perform compliance and financial audits as necessary.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collect information from fixed and mobile surveillance, overt and covert camera systems and provides reports to investigators and supervision.
• Interviews and prepares statements and reports from victims, witnesses, and suspects.
• Reports high risk conditions and on the company’s systems, controls and procedures that protect company assets, including but not limited to: mechanical locks, access control, camera and alarms systems.
• Uses video and still photograph in mobile surveillance.
• Conducts sting operations with bait money and property.
• Protects property from theft or damage.
• Performs after-hour recoveries of money and other valuables.
• Work with City, County, State, and Federal Law Enforcement to solve crimes.
• Support Loss Prevention Investigators working internal and external cases. Testify and present information in court, if needed, related to fraud and Loss Prevention issues.
• Prepare reports as requested, enter information for fraud incidents into proprietary case management system, and prepare suspicious activity reports, all in a timely manner. Comply with all Six Flags policies and procedures

Internal Loss Prevention Investigator

Job Summary:

Investigators work under general supervision, responsible for the collection of evidence to be submitted to management in employee matters for disciplinary action, including termination and prosecution, to provide detailed reports and testify before courts, boards or administrative proceedings. Investigators work with management and other Loss Prevention personnel to identify those involved in crimes against persons and property, and violations of company policy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collect information from fixed and mobile surveillance, overt and covert camera systems, Undercover Operatives, Shopper, and Field Agents, conduct pre-employment, administrative, and investigative interviews with victims, witnesses, and suspects.
• Coordinate with the responsible department system, control and procedures that protect company assets, including but not limited to: mechanical locks, access control, and alarms systems.
• Investigate cases of fraud involving transactions occurring at the park, including the use of ATM cards, debit cards, electronic fund transfers, and checks.
• Support Human Resources with employee background investigations that include record checks using the company’s own proprietary background retrieval system, employment, educational, and reference checks.
• Conduct sting operations with company property.
• Work with City, County, State, and Federal Law Enforcement to solve crimes.
• Assist in the coordination of training for effective loss control at all Six Flags properties and preventing losses at the customer service level.
• Keep parks informed of fraud schemes and other information related to Loss Prevention issues.
• Testify and present information in court, if needed, related to fraud and Loss Prevention issues.
• Prepare reports as requested, enter information for fraud incidents into proprietary case management system, and prepare suspicious activity reports, all in a timely manner.

Loss Prevention Undercover Secret Shopper

Job Summary:

Shopper Agents pose as regular customers of all (Must be 18 years old) ages, who usually work in teams. Shoppers evaluate employees for safety, honesty, efficiency, and customer service. Shoppers make purchases and observe how cashiers handle the transactions. Shoppers report both positive and negative conditions that impact the guest experience and report malfeasance to Investigators for follow-up action. Shoppers prepare reports but seldom if ever testify in court. Part-time and seasonal positions are available.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Make purchases and document the sale, verify sales are recorded properly and that receipts are given along with the proper change.
• Evaluate the food or beverage purchased for temperature, flavor, and presentation.
• Work with Loss Prevention investigators on internal theft cases.
• Write reports on incidents that occur in the park.
• Evaluate and report positive or negative actions of employees toward guest.
• Report questionable or dishonest activities.
• Report safety rules and regulations that are not being properly adhered to.
• Operate in a safe manner.
